Sway bar removal or ReplacE?

Hey gentlemen, I finally found out what has been making the popping noise durings turns. Theres a sway bar bushing that is loose, and according to the dealer, the sway bar is after market and not stock, and said its really doing nothing in there, and may as well just remove it instead of trying to match the right bushing? Or do yous suggest replacing it with a new one, are they helping alot on turns with this truck? Its a 1995 F350 4x4.

Red face Swaybar

That's touchy since it isn't a factory part then finding the right bushings, or link pins could be a pain. So removing it would be easier. But if were on and fastened, it may be some help to you're truck. That sway bar is to help take excessive leans out of you're truck when turning.
If you don't mind the drive...... Yank it out. If you don't like the leaning (if it does) then you need to find the parts, or just replace it with new.

Yeah, I think I will replace it with like an off road one, even tho i dont go offroad, I do haul sometimes, so the addes stability on turns is nice, but the popping has got to go.

You should be able to get urethane bushings for it. They make a world of difference.
