Edelbrock(Carter) question
I recently bought, overhauled and put a used carter 625 carb on my 351w. I ran the numbers and found out this is a EGR carb. My engine is a non-EGR engine. When a carb is tuned to a engine with a EGR installed on it, is it jetted the same, richer or leaner than a non-EGR engine? I am wondering this as the engine seems to run a little richer. Do I need to look at changing the metering rods?
P.S. Love this carb! Much smoother than the 4V holley that was on it.
