449.75 RWHP. I'm stoked.
Pretty pleased with that considering that except for a cam and intake the motors stock. (did I mention the 10 lbs of boost). OK I cheated. Didn't get a good torque # but I knew going in my conveters way to loose. Thanks for letting me brag a little, now if I can just get my big head through the doorway...
I'm assuming this is a Ford truck because you're on FTE, but could you give us just a little more info like what type of truck (Lightning?), engine size, mods, etc...
blown 429 no wonder such nice numbers. but still i beat it sounded ohhh so sweet on the rollers. 427,428 and 429 where such animals to start with. i'll beat a little more tuning and boost it will kick you 500 to 525 rwhp with out any problem. tighten up that convertor to about 1200 and see the difference yet.
now you make me wonder how my stang will be. a stage 2 procharger with 10 to 12 pounds on a 4.0 v6 stick mustang with jba exhaust from the heads back , cams i'm still resaerching for if any are made or can be ground for me. 210 stock and procharger claims 100% boost in power levels plus the exhaust. just a little sleeper car as a every day runner.
I'm thinking about doing something similar with a little 75 stangII that a guy is giving me with a 289 or 302. Kinda ugly for a stang but it would be a sleeper and a decent commute vehicle.
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! I've got a '64 F-250 (slightly rat-rodded) and a '94 Pro-Street F-150 but it's almost like you've combined the two. Beautiful truck, sweet sound, OUTSTANDING job!
roger dowty, if your 75 stang II is in good shape, do it! I had one of those bout 17 yrs ago. Had the 302, i modded it slightly and it would fly. Handled like a dream with the right tires and shocks. Wasn't that ugly either, resembles the early stangs more than the 80's or 90's models.
