Nope, sorry. Don't know if I could survive 3000 miles in the ol Mack truck LOL!!!!
I have a couple vids from a few years back that buddy's wife took. I'd have to get them on YouTube or something for you to watch. If my laptop will allow me to do it? Freak'n thing is on it's last leg.
Larry nice writeup and very cool pics of your car. I've only see a few pics of it....and it's nice to see some up close pics. Very nice and congrats!!!!
Great writeup, the 64 Galaxie's have allways been the car at the top of my list. I have a friend up here in Bend that runs a 64 Galaxie wagon with a 428 with 2 4 carbs, but it has the woodgrain trim.
Congrats on the win. Last really cool station wagon I saw race to wins was clear back in the '70s when a buddy raced a GTO station wagon, well at least the GTO front sheet metal on a station wagon, ran in 3 different AHRA S/S classes. There was the 2 barrel, 4 barrel and the multi-carb (3X2) classes. Same motor just different intakes and carbs. I learned a lot from the man. Never did learn how to work on a car in a white shirt and never get dirty above the wrist though. He was magic that way.
Way Cool!!! Congratulations on the win! The 64 Galaxie is a special car to me. My grandfather had 2 of them...one was a 500 4 door 390 automatic with factory bucket seats and console. When I was a senior in high school I had a headon collision in it...I came pretty close to buying the farm. The car was totalled. The other Galaxie is a 2 door with a 289 3 speed manual on the column. It's still on the family farm back in TN. I've been patiently waiting to get my hands on it...someday.
I love that wheelie pic....wish I could get my truck to do that....without the use of a floor jack....LOL.
