New wiring harness question
Hey every one. I've been restoring my 79 Ranger.
and i'm geting to the point where I want to put in a new harnes.
I've been looking around and I cant find any one who makes a harness for my year truck.
I've talked to a few place's and they all say they dont make a harness for my truck I would have to replace every thing even my insterment cluster and I dont want to have to do that. I really want to keep the origenal gauge's.
Is there any way of geting around this or am I kinda boned?

For some reason, they said they cant match the plug that plugs in to the back of the cluster... so I would have to lose my cluster and go with aftermarket gauge's and I will not do that...
I can however get it wired at a few shops here in town but i'm looking at over a grand to 2 grand to do it....
Its just a big flat connector I dont see why its so hard to match or make.
