Ok, you are in raised bungalow house w/basement and you are on the main floor.
In the basement, there are three rooms, each of which has a typical incandescent light fixture mounted to the ceiling.
The door to the basement is closed and there are three light switches on the main floor. Each switch turns on a light in ONE of the rooms.
Your Mission: Map the switches to their corresponding rooms. You can only go downstairs once and when you come back up you should know which switches control all three rooms.
There are no windows, so you cannot go outside to see which lights are on. YOu cannot see through cracks in the floors.

If it's wired like most houses I've seen, the first switch will turn on the first room, the middle switch will turn on the middle room ond the last switch will turn on the last room. So you should turn on either the first or the last switch, then go into the basement and see which room came on...and then you'll know the rest.
Steve you need to post the teaser in its entirety again this time with no mistakes, get it right the first time. My answer is correct based upon the way you type it. Thank you very much.
