Coil
After my truck is warm and I restart it Im having Idleing issues. Well we have narrowed it down to either a bad coil or a leaky injector. So first Im gonna try the coil hoping that I dont have to mess with the injectors. Im goin to the junkyard this weekend to get one if i can find one... What year explorer or ranger 4.0L will be compatable with my 96 4.0L

If you suspect the coil pack, why not pul it & take it to your favorite autoparts store & let them do a no cost bench test on it????
If you think heat is part of the problem, take a heat gun or hogh powered hair dryer along, to heat that puppy up, during it's output bnch test.
If you suspect the injector/s are leaking, try doing a KOEO fuel pressure test & see if your getting any premature psi leak down.
Just some thoughts for pondering.
