Its pretty hard to build a lot of power in a gasser without spending a lot of cash. Those are ok numbers, I think, you know if you were to add an intake and exhaust system it may help that programmer add more power than that. I watched "trucks" the other day and they added an Edge programmer, exhaust, and intake, although they didn't do a dyno test before or after, it seemed like they were able to get some good power out of their 5.4L. The truck they were playing with was a new 3 valve per cylinder 5.4L, I don't know if you have that one or the previous engine, or if that makes a difference. If it helps, I love my SCT on my diesel.
the only real hp gain you get is from having to run 93 octane fuel with the advanced timing...the 05 and up trucks with the throttle by wire see alot better throttle response..
the only real benifit you will see is tranny shifting
