I have a 2004 Expedition Eddie Bauer. I'm trying to track down the HD transmission oil cooler that the tow package includes, but Ford does not list one in their dealership parts computers.
I have seen the two different coolers by looking into the various grilles of Expeditions, and it is very clear that there is both a tall (22) plate exchanger, and a smaller (14) plate exchanger. (Thanks to posters on this site thus far for their help )
The dealership computer calls the smaller one a "heavy duty" oil cooler. but it is only the 14 plate one. My EB currently has this smaller one, which needs to be swapped out (dealership is footing the bill).
Can anyone help me get the part number of the larger 22 plate one? Is it stamped somewhere on the part itself, and if so, could someone have a look?
