I have used my seat heater frequently with my King Ranch Leather. I keep my seats conditioned regularly with M.L. Leddy's Leather Restoration Balm from M.L. saddle shop in Fort Worth Texas. It seems to work much better than the conditioner sold by King Ranch. It is pricy, but it laves the seats looking great.
Did you buy that leather conditioner at the store? Or order it? I need to recondition the King Ranch seats in my '03 F250, and want something good, but I'm in Houston.
I bougt it in the store, but you can purchase it on their web. However their site is under construction right now. Their phone number is 817-624-3149. I think you will be extremely happy with this if you can get some. My seats actuallyl ook better than they did new. Your seats will darken at first but will return back to original color when it has dried, and it does not leave any oil or white haze behind.
I have the 06 F150 KR also and use the seat heaters on both settings high and low and it doesn't effect the leather at all. I only condition every couple months.
