I talked to a guy recently out in colorado that i saw was driving a 2004 F-150. It was all covered in black leather. It is builit on the expedition chasis i take it. I got a picture of it but i dont know how to "post Pics"
No, they aren't out yet. It was a prototype he saw. They cover them in padded black vinyl to try to hide the shape. Email me the photo(s) and I'll feature them here.
I won't even look at it unless it has door window vents and a rain gutter above the side windows.Mr.Ford, why don't put those swing out triangular windows in your vehicles anymore? All this streamlining isn't saving a penny of gas.Everyone with the newer trucks is getting soaked while it is raining when they try to get some air into the cab.God bless my 92 F150 XLT; when someone needs to smoke inside the truck at 70 mph, you don't have to have a tornado blasting you inside the cab. I guess I'll be stuck owning mid-90's and earlier trucks the rest of my life. All this change is hard to take.

Another thing, stop with the fancy plastic side mirrors, Mr.Ford.How about making the truck look like a truck? People who drive cars might put up with a piece of plastic busting off the side of the vehicle, but truck drivers want something that can get wacked and survive. My metal mirror frames have clobbered stone walls under narrow railraoad bridges and aside from a scratch were in good shape.Enough of making ##### trucks!Signed grumpy ol'*******
Lets hope that what the magazines say is true, Its gonna be a cross between the current F-150 and the superduties, then it might be half a real truck(and lets hope its gets a diseal in 05' like they say). At least it kinda looks like a truck, it looks a lot better then then the current fords and a hell of a lot better then the new chevs and dodges.
