Well, once again my truck won't start. The dealer said It's fine. I sent it to the local diesel tech and he said the PCM module is no good. How much does a new PCM cost ballpark. I was told 1000 but don't the 6.0L cost a pretty penny? I figured 1800 to 2700 for a PSD one
doesn't crank. It only tells the glow plugs to fire and nothing else. if you hit it with a rubber hammer it eventually starts the truck.its an 06 with no dealer support of any kind. I contacted ford and they haven't offered any help
I'd come closer to believing a starter relay, than the pcm. All the relays are there next to the pcm. Get into your owners manual to find the right one. And I too am wondering about the warranty!
they refuse to replace the part until its stone dead.the dealer does not care at all.i was treated like garbage on the phone and in person.they never even looked under the hood in this truck as i tide fishing line under the hood so when they opened the hood it would snap instantly
