Is there only 4 cab mounts on a supercab? Are they in the same location as the reg cab? Length aside, does one swap with the other in the same location to mount the front fenders?
Well I think the fenders are a pretty important thing to consider- If I go and stick a reg cab on a supercab frame and the mounts are moved back for the super cab, I'm going to have open frame in front of the fenders when I bolt them to the cab and they won't hit the core support.
The front cab mounts are in the same location. Not sure about the rear. I would think that, if anything, they would add an extra set at the very rear. Hmmm...I just got an idea...Take a SC frame, put a regular cab on it and then have a sweet crossover are between the bed and cab. Possibly for a tool box or maybe a big as$ roll bar...
Actually I was thinking do the opposite. Supercab on a reg cab LB frame, and put a shortbed on it. I know it's silly but I like the newer trucks w/ supercab and short bed and they didn't make em a whole lot this body style so it'd be neat. I have a short bed and a reg cab truck to use the frame, may just need the Cab from supercab.

nathan let me ask you a question that should solve my problem- when the cab was still on the frame were those rear cab mounts towards the back of the cab?
I have a 75 shortbed supercab frame and cab for sale. There is also an upward curve in the frame that starts at the back of the cab, regular cab frames have it as well, but it is 2 feet further forward.
It was my project truck, but I have too many other ones too keep it. I would like to have $650 for it. I put in all polyurethane bushings, including cab mounts. Frame is in great shape. Cab has little rust in corners, new ones are included. I can send pics through email, it won't let me here for some reason.
