Well, I opened my wallet!
Went on friday night and put a deposite on 2 1986 6.9L engines, a ZF 5 speed, a BW 1356 Tcase, and a bunch of gasket sets and injector caps...
Am also going to look at a 1993 F250 4X4 with 120 000 miles on it... has engine troubles... new tranny ( auto ) and tires... Between $1200 and $1500.... There will be a good use for one of the 6.9Ls...
Looks like between that truck and mine I will be a bust man for the next little while
