i got a set of roof lights for my 2005 sd but the lights do not give any idea on the spaceing or the distance from the windsheild? any help would be apprecated, thanks greg
I figured it was. It's an FTE classic like the Explorer/Ranger Blend Door fix and Earl's World in the 48-60 fourm. I keep it set as a favorite until I do mine.
One thing to keep in mind, and there is a current thread on this very subject, is that by adding the cab marker lights, you may prevent yourself from getting into your garage or at the very least, covered parking garages. This is the main reason that I haven't done mine yet.
Thats a good point about parking garages. I haven't thought about that. I went into the Fleetcenter in Boston the other night. The clearance was 6'8". My radio antenna was whacking the sign as well as all of the pipes. Another inch or 2 will keep me out.
Look like some good instructions, maybee I will finnaly do mine as well. Have had the lights sitting around since my dad bought them for my birthday but have not got brave enough to drill on my truck.

If you screw it up it can be fixed. Go for it. Let the old man know you appreciated the gift.
