EBPV Removal

EBPV Removal

What are the pros and cons of removing the EBPV from the turbo or disconnecting it? I live up North in Washington cold in winter, warm in summer. Pretty much four seasons. Or possibly changing out pedastal to non-EBPV pedastal?

Well the only function of the EBPV is to speed warmup when temps are below 45* ambient and Oil Temp is below 131* while the truck is at idle or under low speed low load situations.
