I am assuming there is 12v available inside the console. I need to know how to remove the console. I assume it pops off, but I dont want to break anything.
I don't recall offhand if there are those two screws, but I know you just kind of pull down on it and it will come off. It will make a horrible noise, which is the metal snap in clips against the metal body, but it's not a problem.
How do you remove the overhead console in an F250/350 2006 or 2007 carryover?
I can easily remove the cover (that is the part that matches the interior colors). That has four clips. You pull on the cover, the clips make an awful noise and the cover comes free. Not so easy to put it back, but eventually I will get all four clips to align.
However under this is black plastic case. I will need to remove that for modifications.
How is this black casing removed? If there are screws, where exactly are they. I’ve had the cover off for a week and I’ve made no progress removing the black interior case despite several attempts
