Excursion Rear Leaf Spring Questions

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and have been doing substantial reading on the X leaf springs. I have a few questions and was hoping some of the experienced folk here could help me out because my suspension already has some mods.

I have a 2002 X and I currently have a tough country 2" lift kit installed (essentially a levelling kit that adds extra leafs to your front and rear springs) and includes the longer u-bolts etc. I have Bilstein 5150 shocks that are sized to the current suspension height. I like the current height because it let's me run 33 x 12.5" Super Swamper TrXus STS 10ply tires. I am considering changing out the rear leaf spring to the "B" Code F-250 springs so many people have recomended. The reason for the change is that I recently had a custom made receiver hitch installed and it is substantially heavier then the stock hitch and I feel like my suspension is now sitting slightly *** heavy.

Here is my questions:

If it put in stock "B" code F250 springs and remove the factory springs AND the tough country additional leafs does anyone know if I will come out at or above my current height of +2" over stock?

I absolutely want to make sure I come out at least level or sligtly higher in the rear. I regulary tow a 14' Cross Country Equipment Trailer that has a 10K GVWR and is normally around 4K to 6K pounds. I don't like that when I hook up the trailer that I tend to sit *** heavy.

I don't use weight distribution because the tow distances are short and I am hooking and unhooking the trailer frequently. I had a heavy duty custom hitch installed because some of the rental places gave me a hassle that the hitch says 5K and if I am renting a bobcat that with the trailer is almost 10K. I LOVE the custom hitch because it is REALLY havey duty and they built it to include a larger step so I can easily get to my roof rack.

When I change the leaf springs I will add a Hellwig rear sway bar and was considering the RAS but I might consider rear air to adjust the ride to level depending on the load I am carrying which could be 2K with the empty trailer to 10K for a bobcat.

Am I reading the chart I posted above correctly? If I am reading this right it says that the B Code springs have less capacity then the C Code springs and that it lowers the X in the back?

The chart posted is for FRONT springs, rear B Code springs will raise the rear end about 1/2" at most. I have them on my X and only gained about 1/4", but the rear end doesn't squat when I hook up my trailer that weighs about 8K
