What are you working on? Sounds like it is something at least a 87 or up.

power loss...sometimes

I have a '92 F150 4.9L. I just did a tune up (plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and fuel filter). When I let out the clutch in first gear and give it gas, it seems very sluggish until I shift into second. However, it does not do it all the time. It seems is I rev it up and give it some Rs, it does not have the power loss when first is engaged. Is the clutch going to heck??? This is a 2 wheel drive truck and if it is the clutch, how difficult is the job. I've never done a clutch before. (no need because my fords never have any major issues...)

Any advice is appreciated!
Thanks,
duche400
