Question Video of Hilton and Spears making out on Powerstroke hood

Ha ha ha, made you look

Seriously, another plug for Jody Tipton and DP Tuner (via ITP Diesel). My wife got me one for Christmas (stock, 80hp econ, 140 super-duper-mega-extreme, high idle) and it is a completely different truck

An interesting note--I've been driving around in 80hp, and my EGTs have averaged 25-50 degrees lower. Certainly counterintuitive. My only hypothesis is this--I live in a very very hilly area. Normally I have to stay in the throttle to get going after all-too-frequent red lights and stop signs. The truck is so much more responsive that it only takes a little bit to get going again--thus more actual driving is done in off-idle condition than before. Any other guesses?

NOT FUNNY!!!!!!!

ON another note, you have a good wife. Let the good times roll with those DP tunes. About your EGT's, Ive never seen lower temps in my on my tunes but i have seen the same as stock on some hills. Look at it this way you have a super efficient truck.

Not funny, but eerily believable

And yes, I have the best wife ever, for many reasons. I'd like to hear from Jody/Diane on whether they have seen lower EGTs from people in my environment before. Whatever--I'll take it. Maybe if I get injectors and some nitrous my temps will go down even more :-p

Thats not even fair yeller...........gettin our hopes up like that

I can see temps being a tad lower, a little less throttle position to maintain the speed as compared to stock.

Flip to stock and see if the temps go up when you have to add a little pedal to keep the speed.
