79 Supercab cab?
Hi all, Just makin an enquiry from Australia. We never had the 73-79 supercabs over here, (to the best of my knowledge) but I am thinking of gettin a cab from the US, and importing it over here, then sitting it on my 76 LWB chassis. How available are they over there?

Lots to choose from.
I have a 77 XLT with a 460 auto.
They were great for hauling campers & towing caravans because of the family seating for the kids ..truck idea.
I would assume you need one from the Florida or California area to lessen shipping costs ?

G'day Mil1ion. You assumed correctly. I was hoping to contact someone in the California area who may have a fairly good supercab cab and interior for sale, however i was also wondering if you believe I would come across a decent cab so close to the coast? Downunder, any truck near the coast is usually rusted out.

Cali cars and trucks are generally very rust-free. Unless they were used for beach-patrol or somethin... haha. It shouldn't be too hard to find a rust-free California or Arizona Supercab.
