No apology is needed, Your part of the country has gotten bad ones also. The car was not in orleans parish ... but still got about 2 ft of water. It got flooded once before about 12 years ago when I was about 80% finished with it. Guess I should have gotten my tools from the parents house ... but I didn't have place for them and didn't need them for any of my current, metric foriegn cars. I work at a navy base and have access to the shop, and it is convienient to use it for the bigger jobs.
Besides, I am rather new here myself .... 41 and got my first truck in January ... just need something to carry around those items that don't fit in a Beetle or Del Sol ... so almost anything from the Depot.
Thanks for your exellent how to on the bushings, A link to this site should be in the first chapter of the Haynes Manual .... and probably after each procedure described in it.

You are right, this site is an excellent place to share information. As for me, I don't know much, but I am willing to pass along anything that might make someone's day a little easier. By the way, your Mach1 is one excellent automobile!!! -- but I guess you already know that.
