I have a 1991 f150 4wd which had a neg. camber problem. After installing new axle pivot bushings , radius arm bushings and new springs with a 2" lift. I now have a pos. camber problem. My question is how do you remove the camber adjustment sleeve without removine the ball joints.
you maybe be able to adjust the camber sleeve if you only remove the castle nut, but everything maybe be seized and you will have to loosen the lower joint then remove the castle nut on the upper joint and bang it till they both pop out. You must only loosen the lower ball joint nut and not remove it due to the fact that the spidle will drop on your foot when you bang it out if you take it all the way off.
I purchased one and it does work. It'll pull the camber sleeve out and not damage anything. Not cheap but I felt it was worth the price.
I'm not sure if you know it but the factory sleeve can be used for two different settings.
Example: A 1 degree sleeve depending on the position its installed can either add 1 degree negative or if you move it 180 degrees can be 1 degree positive.
