engine question
hey everybody i bought a ford f150 recently and was trying to figure out what year engine it had. here is the number found behind the starter on the block 3B15. if anybody could help i would appreciate it. later

That's the casting date code
Well it was made in ayear that ended in 3 1973,1983 1993
It was cast on February 15th of that engine.
Get me the other number
The 6015 number
ie: E3TE-6015-B
A better way is the intake manifold and valve cover bolts.
how many valve cover bolts per head ?
Intake...does it have a spot for a T-stat housing on it ?
