I get a clunking sound or banging sound under my feet when I hit my brakes looked at all the bushings and jacked up the truck and the king pins are tight anyone have this know what it could be?
I know where my drivetrain is and it's not in the drivetrain the banging is under my feet and you can feel it on the floorboards, not in the driveshaft or the carrier bearing or the slip yoke is your driveshaft going to bang your floorboards????? if it is I want to be out of your way.
I had a similar feeling. Sometimes it felt like it was coming from the rear of the truck. Turned out to be front driver's side wheel bearing.
Yea I"m having that problem as well and I also think it's the wheel bearing. If I roll down my window I can hear a click I guess you'd call it and it's related to speed if I go real slow I can hear it like a baseball card in a bike tire, but only like 4 or 5 clicks a rotation, like from 10 to12 o'clock.
Not bearings or king pins jacked up truck and put bar in the wheel no play at all.only happens when I hit the brakes and it happens forward and backward in the driveway speed is not a factor and does not happen all the time.
