When I push my brake pedal in my brakes make a loud clunk sound. If I use my brakes not long after they made the clunk sound they don't make the sound but if I drive a while then use them again they make a clunk sound. I'm thinking it might be a caliber the brakes work fine to. Any help would be appreciated
Listen and try to figure out where the noise is coming from... under the dash, RR, LF... maybe roll the window down and hang your head out of the window and try to duplicate the noise.
check youre sliders and if your rotors are heavily grooved they could be pushing the caliper up and then it pops back in place with the pressure nothing better than a good thorough visual inspection
Mine did the same thing and I found out the springs on my rear brake shoes were worn. I could of swore it was coming from the front but I found out it's from the back. They also could be needing adjustment.
