need some advice
ok i have a 2000 f250 with the 7.3. i purchased the truck with 85,000 miles and it now has 102,000.it is has no chip, 6637 and 5in exhaust the truck starts fine in the morning, with just a little puff of white smoke. i have began to notice that it smokes slightly at idle and if i gun the gas real quik, even when warm. the smoke is a blue-ish grey color and is mostly noticeable at night when a cars headlights are shining through it. maybe the headlights are exagerating the problem... is any smoke normal? after searching through some threads i thought i should check my turbo, and the exhaust side was dry and the intake side had a little oil but it looked like it was from the ccv. i took the oil cap off while runnig it and there was a little smoke but not excessive. also my rear fender gets black with soot after about a week my questions are,
1 is any smoke normal out of the tail pipe?
2 could it be injectors, it runs fine?
3 am i being paranoid and should i just run it?
Thank you for your time and advice
