do a search. this topic has been beaten to death along with MPG threads.
Just because I still have some holiday spirit left in me, I can tell you that I have a set of WeatherTech inchannel visors and they just snapped in without any tape. The material is so thin and durable that my power window has no problem going up/down.
i bought a set of the wade in channel visors for my 06, and they did include tape to help hold it up into the channel. the directions say not to roll down the windows for the first few days to help the window seal "re-seat" itself with the visor installed. i did this, and have no issues what-so-ever. i really do like the appearance much better than the outside press on style.
thanx is300...glad you still had some spirit left in ya.....thanx for the reply
no problem, im glad you didnt take it offensive. I really like the WeatherTech because it literally just sits in and the only thing holding it in is a small clip that mounts near the mirrors. If you ever need to take it off, all you do is remove the clip and the visors come off. Just to let you know, I had a set of VentVisors inchannels and the piece that went into the channle was relatively thick and that caused the windows to not go all the way up and fitment wasnt the greatest. Granted it was much cheaper than the WeatherTechs, but you really do get what you pay for. The WeatherTechs are OEM quality and are manufactured in Germany. Ha, I feel like I just made a sales pitch
