Vent visors on a 2104 Super Duty CC

I bought some weathertech in channel visors. Rear went in fine the fronts seem extremely tight, and don't allow window to go up smooth and when it does it hits the top and the auto down kicks in..Has anyone got any tips on the install of these visors? Are in-channels the way to go or are the peel/sticks better?

Mine were like that on my 2013
I would just touch the button till the window would seat in the channel
It took a little while but now that they worked themselves in I have no problems

I pushed my fingers into the window channel to spread the weather stripping apart, then sprayed Windex into the channel to lubricate it. This solved the same problem that you are having. Good luck.

I have a 2013 and bought the putco chrome in channel vent visors from Zeibart and had them install them. When I picked it up I was told not to open windows for 24 hr. For them to set up properly but this was done in August when it was still hot out. When I opened them after the 24 hr period they were set good except it took about a week for the passenger front side to stop making window stop going up at half way and go back down , but after that first week it has been fine with no problems. I would recommend the putco in channels !!!!!

Really? Not after two years on my 150 that has been thru weather of +42c to as low as -51C. That is a 90degree temperature difference without a single issue. The stick seems old school.
