Depends on who you buy it from. Most vendors will paint it for you if you ask them too.
They are not difficult to paint, but if you get it from Ford the paint is rather expensive.

I have bought all mine painted. I think it was only $10-$15 to have it painted for you before they ship it. And, when the can of plastic primer and matching paint end up costing around $8....I think, yeah, it's worth my $7 to not have to mess with it at all, just open box and install.

I have the demim blue interior and no one had the paint to do it, so I had to paint it myself. Just gave the paint store the numbers and they put the paint in an spray can for me, perfect match. Ended up costing me about 30 bucks.
