bleeding to death
I have a 94 F250 diesel 4x4. I changed the clutch master cylinder on it this weekend and now I can't seem to get it to bleed. I changed the slave cylinder on it a few months back and it was a pain to bleed but it eventually did. I have no pressure in the pedal at all. The instructions say to bleed it from the slave cylinder. When I open the bleed screw on the slave, sometimes fluid squirts out and other times it dribbles out. Could there be an air lock? Does anyone have a near foolproof way of bleeding these systems? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

go to local auto parts store and spend 15-20 dollars and buy a vacuum pump kit. it attaches to the bleeder screw and sucks the fluid through the system and ino a container so it can be reclaimed. I've used it on brakes and it works great.

Tthere is no bleeder screw persay. it is an allan key screw on top. It is not like brakes where you use a tube and a wrench. Thanks for your input and I'll check with the auto parts store in town to see if they make one for that application.
