It's nice, at idle, the way the sound reverberates in the pipes makes it sound like diesel clatter. Once you get on it though you can tell it's all gas. It'll be a diesel someday though, gonna keep my eyes open for a cummins 12v donor.

This is one of 4 tractors we have. Weve got a JD Model B, a JD 420, a JD 435 (pictured) and a JD 70 Standard.

It depends on what I'm doing, and where I'm going. I could pull the 5x8 utility trailer and the lawn tractor, or the 7x16 equipment trailer and the Ford 1720 4wd tractor, or one of the two cargo trailers, the boat trailer or the travel trailer.

Pullin'

I just bought a 25' Gatormade 20,000 Lb gooseneck to pull behind my '06 F250 6.0L, standard trans. I pull my JD5105 4WD with loader and bushog or plow. Pulls like a monster and I live in the mountains! Thinking about loading up the Harley the next time I need to drop it off for service - should be worth the grin factor.

16,600 GVW horse trailer loaded from Maine to South Carolina for endurance races.
9,999 GVW horse trailer (yes it's that way to keep under 10,000) every weekend for training rides
18' flat bed to haul cars and tractors here and there
20ton hay wagons all day long during hay season

Thanks cdr, I'm kinda partial to it myself, lol. I've actually been toying with the idea of ordering a new lariat V10 torqushift but every time I think about it I realize I'll have to add another $3,500 to the price tag to get it where I have this one, that and I've only got 36k miles on it so other than wanting a new truck I really don't need one. I will say rims and tires make a hudge improvement on any truck and were the biggest improvement (looks wise) that I did!

By the way, if I do order a new lariat I'm undecided on wedgewood blue over arizona beige (much like yours) or the dark red (what ever the tech name is for it) over the beige. I'm leaning towards the red only because the owner of the company where I work has an 05 CC Lariat Wedgewood blue F250 PSD (nice truck but he could use some mods, lol)
