info: 1994 f-150, 351, auto w o/d, push button 4x4, lockout hubs, ext cab, short bed. tag on transfer says 1356.
i have a pretty wicked vibration, which is not slowly but very surely getting worse. started a couple weeks ago very subtly, if i was on the gas even just a little, putting pressure on whatever it is it would shut up, get up to cruising where i would have to let off the gas, just as i would get off the gas and give it a little slack, vibrate again, but when clear off the gas and it had pressure backwards of under power, but kinda, sorry dont know a way to explain except, downhill, 60 m.p.h let off gas, that braking pressure. now it does it accelerating, and in the slackspot, but it is still smooth 60 let off gas, except for at any speed, it is taking up slack, get to 30 for example, let off gas cchlink, back on gas, cchlink, up to 60, let off gas, ccchhlink, etc etc. but once it gets beyond the slack spot the drifting pressure, no vibrate. i was kinda thinkin the chain in the transfer case, not terribly sure. any ideas. anybody know if just the chain will go south or will the sprockets go with them. i know it needs the rear seal in the t-case. yada yada
