Waag "side tubes"?

Does anyone have any experiences with Waag side tubes (nerf bars)?

I'm looking for some nerf bars that attach directly to the frame.
Is this true?

Any experiences/feedback would be greatly appreciated!

I had some from that manufacturer years ago on an old F250, and they were ok. Nothing that I would write home about in terms of fit or finish, but they did the job well enough.
