6.0 intercooler is the absoluter maximum intercooler space you can fit in there, and its designed for the 6.0 trucks. more power=more heat, and a 7.3 version is fine for most guys out there. If i were to get a spearco i'd get a 6.0 just because it looks cooler.
No problems with the 6.0 Spearco fitting correctly? Looks like if it is the same price, it comes with the requied boots, and it fit in there without any problems, Why not? Man that thing looks good!
From all the reports I've read, the fit of the 6.0 Spearco IC is extremely tight. A few have had to move their trans cooler lines, there have been some creative ways to get the IC tubes to fit, and some have had to make a small spacer for the bolts to keep the IC off the radiator. But, it is bigger, and has been tested to cool just a bit better.
I have a 7.3 IC from Spearco - I didn't know you could get the 6.0 verson yet. It came out a few weeks after I bought mine. If I had to do it over again, I'd probably still take the 7.3 version. That thing just dropped into place, no problems, everything lined up. If I get to the point where I need more IC than what the 7.3 version offers, making something bigger fit will probably be the last of my worries.
