Truck shuts off while driving

I have a 1990 5.8 4x4 that shuts off while driving. The truck will idle all day but as soon as it's put under a load it dies. I have steady fuel pressure, the distrubitor, ignition module, and coil have all been replaced. I have run a fuel pressure guage so that I can see it, and I am holding good pressure even when the truck shuts off. Any Ideas????

It just started out of the blue, however I think I figured it out. I found a loose connection on the wiring harness down by the computer. So far it's running ok, but we'll see.
