1970 thru 1972 are the same cab. Trim (mldgs, emblems) will be different between models. The basic structure is the same 1967-1972

My Dad has a camper edition (not sure which year). He told me I could have it, I believe it has a 390. Not sure what I will do with it. I live in Summerville, SC.

I can give you a hint for what you might do. You can climb up on the seat and fire that 390 up and listen to the V8 exhaust note. Put it in gear and pull off, and feel it respond. Get it warmed up and pull up to a light where a zoom zoom zoom is acting like he is hot stuff, and let him take off, then you mash on that ol 390 and that little head start that zoom got ya is now shorter, and while you stay mashing on that ol Detroit Iron Big Block, Zoom gets his doors blown off. Woah, ya notice the hair standing up on the back of your neck, and you have experenced a testosterone rush, ARG Arg arg.

They didn't call them muscle cars for nothing.

I wanted to find out how fast my 1972 F-250 Explorer Camper special with the 390 was, once.

I never did find out... After it buried the 120 MPH speedo, I decided it was fast enough. You could literaly see the gas gauge needle move as it sucked gas.

That thing was built though.
