Ok, who is up for a San Jose run? Everyone who has trucks made at the San Jose plant should go back to their trucks birthplace at least once in its life.
Just kidding, I am bored at work, and had to post something
Lol, I don't know where my '04 F150 was made, I wasn't aware that any were made in San Jose, I thought the only plant was the old GM plant in Fremont, that turned into Numi(sp)?
LOL, my VIN specifically states it was made in San Jose. Of course it also states it has a 360 2bbl, but for some reason when I measured my engine it came out to a 460 with a 4bbl. (Ever try to measure an engine when it is 45 degrees outside? Brrr)
PS: I am in a rare holiday mood, work is slow-peeps don't want to call in for tech support on Christmas Eve I guess.

Reason: typos
BTW, you can send a request to Ford for the Build Sheet for your truck. I did, pretty cool. Not 100 percent correct though from what I can tell...
I did the same thing for my 1981 F-150.
It was pretty acurate. Except the 4.9L Inline six I have is NOT fuel injected.
It also said it had a Clark 4 speed overdrive when it has a T-18. But the certificate code matches the build sheet. The tranny was supposedly swaped at the dealer. I knew the original owner.
I thought I had the site bookmarked but I can't find it now, and a Google search isn't turning it up either. I found it from a link somewhere and was able to fill in the VIN and other pertinent info right on the website, and they sent me a hard copy six or eight weeks later. No charge.
