'92 E40D problems
Guys, I just got a '92 E350 with a 5.8L / E40D. When driving, the tranny shifts very late into the gears and with a hard shift (at least from 1st to 2nd) and when driving on the highway it seems the tranny wroks somewhat against the engine and I have to downshift to go faster. I replaced the filter and tranny fluid and put Lucas tranny additive into it, but still the same. Any thoughts on what the problem could be? It doesn't seem like the tranny slips, just shifts late and the Van doesn't seem to have power to move out of it's own way.
