Problems after changing exhaust system

I just put a MBRP 4" turbo back system on my 05 truck with the cat delete pip and I lost almost 3 mile to the gallon. I am using a tuner from DP Tuner. I had a 4" cat back system on my truck and was averaging between 17 to 20.2 per gallon before I put the turbo back system on. I am looking for advice before I put the cat back on. Has anybody tried this? and what did you do.

I have the MBRP 4" Turbo back, no cat...and I gained a few miles per gallon...I would have to believe it may be the Tuner...or you may be driving it a bit hard to hear your new exhaust sound!!!...

birddogs462,

The exhaust isn't your problem, most likely it's your right foot and the need to "hear" the nice turbo whistle. Exhaust can only help mpg, not hurt it.
