94 460 EFI missing and bucking
I am trying to fix my friends 94 F350 with an EFI 460. The idle is rough and misses every now and then. When you get it to a cruise speed around 30 and up it will randomly cut out for a split second and give a bucking feeling. I have already changed the MAP and TPS sensors and it has brand new wires, plugs and cap/rotor on it. It only does this under light loads and if you floor it it takes off and runs like a scalded dog. Also if you put it in gear and hold the brake it will miss when idling and low throttle but if you push it over about a third of the way down it will run fine. The codes were MAP change and TP change as well as one that said PIP Ckt Failure?

Did you adjust the TPS after you installed it? TPS's on V8's need to be adjusted with a voltmeter after you install them.
The PIP circuit failure would explain the miss. It's easier just to swap the whole distributor out. You'll need to set the timing after you do it.
