When my wife and I arrived at the dealer at 9 am the price they told us was 39,000. At 5 PM when we drove the truck off the lot the final price was 25,000. Is this good or a common price. They told us they gave us 5500 in rebates.?? Thank you very muck for your time
Sounds about right at least for my area. I take 10k off sticker automatically to get the price I'll pay (seems to get me in the ballpark anyway). I have '06 F150 5.4L 4x4 S'cab with all those options plus a few different ones - I payed 20k after my old trade ('97 F150 2WD 4.6L) and incentives. You got a good deal IMO !
it looks like option wise you're loaded pretty much. I wish I could have gotten a deal that sweet, but I wanted the FX4 and nothing else. I paid 31500 for mine. A truck decked out like yours runs about $40,000 out here in Seattle and they don't negotiate because they know people will pay that much.
Sounds like a fair price to me. We picked up a loaded Lariat with all the bells and whistles in January, it is an 05 SCrew, 4x2, 5.4L and paid $28K. We too are in the Seattle area. If I felt like spending another few hours negotiating the price, we may have gotten it a little lower, who knows. We were happy with the deal and that's all that mattered.
Im very happy, but I dont know if the wife is happy with my plans for the truck, hey mabey I can justify spending money on the mods by the money we saved on the truck, he he
Dont forget to purchase a rental care policy. Even if you dont get the ESP you wont have to start a thread whining about not having your vehicle when a long delay in getting parts occurs.
For the other Seattle area SC owners, I bought my '05 Lariat SC in February '06 and paid $29,900. MSRP was about $42,000 I believe and with the bedliner, chrome package and additional dealer mark up the sticker price was something like $47K on it. What I learned was to go on a week night (Monday) at the end of the month, make an offer and be willing to walk. Took about 3-3 1/2 hours from the time I walked in the door.
