I haven't used Cb in a very long time----Becauzzzzz I have had a Ham radion license since 1963 with one 5 year lapse......If you like Cb you would absolutely love Amateur radio.......If I get up early enough in the Am(around 5 Cst) I can usually talk too Australia , New Zealand , etc.....almost every morning......The fcc has dropped the code test down to 5 words per minute------anybody can pass the code test with alittle work..... the Written test is basically a memory test as you are given the questions and the answers from a question Pool of about 500 questions --Which you can study\memorize----then you are given a Multiple choice test with about 50 questions to answer , I think that 70% is required too pass......Everybody who loves Cb should put forth the effort and get a Ham license-----It's the most fun you can have With your clothes ON.....fd
Mine is "Sticky Fingers" because when I got my first CB back in high school I drove this beat up Subaru wagon with the Rolling Stones Tongue logo from the Sticky Fingers album. Wish I still had that radio...that sucker was a hoss. I could get a signal from Denver to Cheyenne if I got up on a hill. I traded my potato cannon and a sack for it.
I want to get one with a chithouse amount of power, because I live in the mountains of Colorado and I need mo' power to get a signal to travel.
If anybody has one they would like to sell, lemme know.

Hey Connie I was thinking since you are the only Ford luvr in your family you could go off that...like Evolved (as in you are the only one that has evolved in you family!lol).
I don't use the CB anymore but my handle and nickname during my guitar playing band stompin days was always "fingers". Given to me by another band member and it just stuck.

I am called Shoestring. I don't know why- some song I sang when I was a kid. My dad's handle is Strawman. I wonder how he got that name.........(Wizard of Oz)
My name was always hotstuff. Some of the drivers that used to drive the same route I took for school and work gave it to me, I never had the nerve to ask why, figured I didnt really want to know.
