Tightening Dash

Hello all,

I just bought a 1993 Ford F-150 and I would like to know where the bolts are located to the dash so I can tighten them. Dash seems to move and creek a lot and would like to see if that helps the problem.

the passenger side mount is broken.

look right nest to the glovebox and the door.

ford makes a repair kit but it really is just an angle iron screwed into broken piece.

i used epoxy and screen to fix mine.

I just used epoxy on mine too. The last two trucks of the 92-96 body style have both had the same problem. I still have to re-glue it every other year or so due to temp changes and our perfectly smooth Wisconsin roads. HAHA

So that's why it doesn't match up to the A pillar!

Yeah, I think ford could have tried a little harder on that one. Gets pretty annoying listening to squeek squeek as i go down the road. The rest of the truck is still pretty tight so that one noise really gets to me.

Mine makes that noise but it is coming from a very small crack on the outer door skin that goes from the mirror mount to the top, its only about 1 inch long and on the drivers door. The problem is trying to find someone that can weld that thin of metal

I used zip ties on mine. Pulled the right side kick panel off. zip tied it nice and tight. So far its lasted three years.
