thanks guys....what is ft? some one told me these were cj heads . im guessing that they are same as c8ae....any other thoughts or if u have reference. THANKS!
I'm pretty sure those are FE heads. The FT heads from the 330,361,389 and 391 are easy to spot. The heat crossover is towards the center of the head and matches the intake. Also the FT heads have big chambers and smaller valves. If the crossovers are off center then they are FE heads.
As far as being 428 CJ heads they are not. The CJ heads were late 68 and carry a C80E prefix. There is a C6AE-R lowriser that is called the poor man's CJ head. They are the last of the lowrisers and are cast very close to what the CJ heads were.
See if your heads have a 6090 and a letter also. Ex: C6TE-6090-B. That is a complete casting number more or less. Post what you can find. They could be either B or G heads. Both are pretty much the same anyway.
