wrong coil? would it..

was just doing a referance on my parts and found they gave me the wrong coil. I have had it in since 9-30-06 and dont know if that would cause any problems to my dist. cap and rotor...Still having problems maybe I just got a bad distruibutor its been remanufactured already which I shouldnt have of bought will buy new next time..

sorry its a 1978 bronco custom with 400 cheap cardone distruibutor 2 months old and new plugs and wires,cap and rotor.

I sell cardone distributors all the time and never have a problem. I've never seen one returned.

coil wasn't electronic

the old coil i had wasnt a electronic ignition plus it had different positive and negative posts on the coil which probley doesnt make diffrence. all ok but thanks for info.
