285's for wheeling

hey everybody i just aquired a barley used set of 285/75/r16 tires and was wondering if this was the equivlant of a 33inch tire, also how would they be offroad. Ill be mounting them on my 87 f250 redneck style

285/75/16s are basically 32.8" to 33" in diameter when new.

33x11.5. They will be fine if they are offroad tires.
