WOW!
I think he was joking around with you, just trying to point out that you are very fortunate, and that most of us got through high school driving rust-buckets (I drove an 81 Buick Century when I was 16).
If I were you I would start with a bug guard. These factory windsheilds chip very easily. The wind guards for the doors look good also. The entire set was $135.00. The cheapest mod for any Ford and will make it look great is mud.

But I guess you missed that one . . .
yeah you're prolly right, I just jump to a conclusion a little fast, sorry about that.. Yeah mud is good, my moms always the "you'll get hurt" I'm like w/e I go anyway lol

It does sound like a "jerk way", but I know what you are saying man. My parents bought me a IS300 when I was 16, WRX when I was 18, and a BMW Z4 (which I still have and is my weekend ride) when I turned 20. I am now 22 and I also have a 05 F-150. Some people do get jelous and always say stuff like "your daddy and your mommy spoiled you and bought your car". Well, I'm sorry that I am fortunate enough to be able to have these tangible luxurious, but I don't just sit on my ***. I had a full time job when I was 17 working as a teller at a bank and when I attended college, my job was to receive good grades. My GPA, which I am proud to say, is a strong 3.7 and I feel like I kept up with my side of the bargain with my parents. I also help out as much as I can with my parent's business and worked full time over the summer (intern/job) at a full service auto salon. Although it may have been sarcasm, some people resent it when others are relucant to have things that they can not possess. Keep your heads up and thank your parents for what they can offer you and get your grades up

I wanted a Is300 but my dad said the insurance was to much.. lol I want to get a job but my mom won't let me because she wants to me to focus on my school work
And let me tell you, working and school at the same time is no fun.
Does give you truck money to play with though, which is always good!
Christmas time for me? Stereo's going bye bye.
All my friends do it and I thank my parents for that everyday. However, I think that for those who work and go to school full time have the upper hand inthe long run because they are learning how to manage their time wisely.

That car may look nice exterior/interior wise, but it drove like crap and I see why insurance woudl be high for drivers our age. My brother totaled my IS...and my good friend was killed in an IS300 by hydroplaning on the highway.
