Too bad it will only work on our 67 and up trucks since we had different vin numbers from 46-66. I can decode 46-52 Canadian vins however but no build dates since my chassis part catalogue doesn't list that.

It don't help my search for my 57. My 1957 VIN plate is off. My 53 has no glovebox door and my 59 is also missing the VIN and SN. Otherwise All my trucks have been bilt in Ontario, hoever I have already known this from LMC catalogues. The months is interesting to find out though.

It told me my 460 came stock with 239 hp. Too bad I was hoping for 400hp!

Vin/Axle/Transmission decoding.

I presently can decode 1957-1963, and will have all the parts books by the end of 2006 from 1948 thru 1979.

Anything I decode will be straight from original Ford Truck parts books.

I also will be able to furnish parts numbers, and decode transmissions and rear axles.

Are these the Canadian books? If they are the US versions then you won't be able to decode our vins except the 67-79 ones. 90% of the parts are the same though.
