[Ford-Trucks.com is pleased to announce the beta release of our 1948-present Ford truck VIN decoder. Try it out, and let us know what you think! If you find any bugs let us know in the support ticket system on the Misc drop-down menu.
Too bad it will only work on our 67 and up trucks since we had different vin numbers from 46-66. I can decode 46-52 Canadian vins however but no build dates since my chassis part catalogue doesn't list that.
It don't help my search for my 57. My 1957 VIN plate is off. My 53 has no glovebox door and my 59 is also missing the VIN and SN. Otherwise All my trucks have been bilt in Ontario, hoever I have already known this from LMC catalogues. The months is interesting to find out though.
Are these the Canadian books? If they are the US versions then you won't be able to decode our vins except the 67-79 ones. 90% of the parts are the same though.
