I have an '06 SCREW...I just bought the 6" Fabtech lift, but have been hearing/reading that the lift doesn't level the truck. Anybody familiar with this?
What will I need to level it, if it looks like garbage?
Keep in mind...my truck is 4X2, so the front end naturally sits about 1" lower then the back before the lift. Will that have any bearing on the level?
Does this lift come with a skid plate?
Lots of questions from me...but ya'll are experts at this, absolutely not me.

You can probably just throw a leveling kit on it in the front 2 springs to lift it the 2.5 inches about that it may be unlevel, I remember someone had a 2wd f150 and put the 6" and it was level but I do not recall 100% if he put a leveling kit..
It will be level and you're not supposed to put a full spacer on it due to camber and driveshaft angle issues. I install about 30 of the fabtech lifts on the F150 a year and there isn't any level issues unless you double stack the block. Now you can put half a spacer on the front which is what i did to my personal f150 and then added a leaf to the back to give it about a 1" rake. I also recommend the dual steering stabilizer setup for the fabtech kit. Put it on every one of my customers and makes a world of difference
Joe, thats my truck except for I have an ARE Z series matching black cap on the back and the Bull guard. The lift looks great. I'm saving for mine but won't install it untill my warrenty runs out. Post new pictures with the bigger tires and new rims.
Joe- Have you done any of the Rize Industries lifts? Our shop has put on an 8" and a 6" on 4wd F150s and they look awesome. I've been very pleased with Rize's quality. They are hard to sell though.
I haven't done any of the rize's because I push the fabtech's pretty hard. I got a flyer from them in the mail but the price seemed to be kind of high. Is the rize a knuckle lift or control arm drop? I haven't done an 8" but I've done a 14 on a Lincoln Mark LT which is the same kit as the F150. I'll have to get some new pics out on mine because it doesn't look anything like it does in the gallery with the tires, wheels and pocket flares. Here's the link to the 14" I did , it has 20" moto metal 950's with 40" Nitto Mud Grappler http://www.generalspringkc.com/myPictures/lincoln14.gif

Joe-
The Rize setup is a control arm drop like Fabtech's. We mainly deal with Pro Comp suspension, so we were really out on a limb with Rize, but they build a quality product.
